About Me
Quinny Sanchez Lopez (she/her/ella) is a 1.5-generation Mexican-American raised in North Carolina. As a formerly undocumented individual, Quinny is passionate about improving the health and well-being of historically marginalized communities.
Early in her career, she led direct interventions in community development, education, mental health, and immigration. After spending two and a half years leading community engagement efforts for a health tech start-up, Quinny is now dedicated to overseeing collaborative approaches to achieve inclusive and impactful digital health interventions.
Quinny’s approach centers on trauma-informed practices, anti-racist frameworks, collective action, and partnerships among communities directly affected by inequity.
She is serving her third year as an appointed member of North Carolina’s Andrea Harris Equity Task Force. She earned her MSW at UNC-Chapel Hill where she concentrated on Community, Management, and Policy Practice.
